Oct 24,2024I was recommended Premiersnag by the residents of Taylor Wimpey new build estate in Derby. On review of their website I decided to book the Premier Platinum Survey which covers a pre-completion survey (done at time of exchange of contracts) and a snagging survey (done after completion). The package itself is great value for money compared to some other sites I came across. I decided to go with a PCI for piece of mind as my house build was completed 2 months ahead of their build date and had seen some horror stories on Instagram. Arranging the date for PCI is a bit challenging as you have to liaise between two parties and I could not be present due to distance of move. Brian checked in with me just before the PCI to confirm who meeting. And the PCI report was sent soon after. Thankfully only minor issues. After completion, I did have to check in with Premier snag about when to book the Snagging survey by - ideally this should be clearer either on website or by email especially as you pay upfront for the whole package. However, this was easily scheduled at my convenience for a Saturday morning. Brian checked in with me again the day before. Brian has a friendly manner and is easy to talk to. He checked with me first if had any concerns since moving in and if the builder had corrected any of the issues. He spent couple hours going round and checking. We had one issue of concern due to a high damp reading in one corner which was talked through and what to tell builder as nothing visible was coming up and thermal readings okay. Report received quickly and Brian was very considerate and showed concern by checking in with me after to ensure the damp element is taken up by builder. Highly recommend Premier Snag for your piece of mind when buying a new build.

Oct 19,2024We engaged Premier Snag to carry out a snagging inspection on our newly purchased first home. We have yet to close on the purchase but they were still more than happy to carry out the inspection with the Site Manager present. Matt attended the property at the agreed time and carried out an extensive review on the exterior and interior and by 8am the next day we had an extensive report presented to us with a full checklist to provide the seller to start working on. Seamless and very positive experience and id happily recommend!

Oct 18,2024Brian from Premier Snag performed a snag review of my new build this week. Absolutely delighted with the report. Very in-depth report with so many minor snags that would be missed by most. Has given me real piece of mind for my move in date knowing that A: there are no major problems with my home and B: that all of the minor snags found will be sorted prior to moving so I can just enjoy moving into my new home worry free. Well worth the money. Professional service throughout. Highly recommend.

Oct 17,2024I found the whole process very easy and communication was good. The guy that came was polite, friendly and answered any questions that I had. The report was sent very quickly too. However upon reviewing the report I was quite surprised that some snags had been missed even ones I had pointed out. I decided to do a quick walk around myself and found a further 12 some of which where obvious and 2 quite serious ones. Not as thorough as could be but I would still recommend as they did get some that we would have missed.

We booked in straight away and a lovely gentleman called Tom came over to visit us and do the inspection. We couldn’t have been more happy with the service provided, he was thorough with the inspection and provided the service that we cannot fault. We highly recommend the company.

Oct 14,2024Service conducted by Brian for our new build in Sheffield (Avant Homes- Nexus point). His knowledge and advice was much appreciated and didn’t mind answering questions on various parts of the house. The report given was useful for us to spot and highlight areas we would have never even noticed. Additionally, the booking was very flexible as I had to re arrange a few times due to the completion date being moved a few times. Premier snag was happy and responsive on adjusting dates.
