Jun 03,2020Not had the corner sofa long but feels really comfy and well made, time will tell but really happy with the product which really feels like a quality purchase. Held off buying rattan furniture due to the plethora of choice and not wanting to buy something cheap or overpriced. Couldn’t ask for more! Delivery was excellent and really helpful. Many thanks to all concerned! Just need more good weather now, everything else is perfect!

May 22,2020*** DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY *** I spent over £300 ordering a table and chairs. When they arrived, the chairs were too low for the table and extremely uncomfortable so I requested a return for refund which they accepted. It's now over a month and they refuse to organise a pick-up, saying they're "busy" and therefore I haven't had a refund. I am now having to threaten court action to get my money back and get the credit card involved. So my advice - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

I contacted them to ask if they still had stock and as they did, ordered two more chairs to complete my outdoor dining. The quality of the workmanship is superb and their support first class.

May 06,2020Good quality cushion pads, exactly as described. Delivery a bit slow and no communication from ordering to delivery but I presume that has to do with the current Covid-19 restrictions. My only negative was that though the company are based in the UK the cushions were made in China. With all that is going on I would prefer to the manufacturing to be British and if not that it be specified that they are made in China so that I can avoid purchasing from China.

May 05,2020I purchased a Royalcraft Sunbeam large umbrella around 20 months ago. It was £300 and excluded the 80kg base which was in addition to this price. We were excited to receive it and enjoyed a few months of summer last year using it. However, by the end of summer, the mechanism to rotate the umbrella (to move the shade) was starting to get stiff so I decided to buy some grease to lubricate the mechanism. When I lifted the cover I was horrified to find that the ball race that the mechanism uses to turn is completely exposed to the elements, even more disturbing is the fact the ball race sits in a PLASTIC ring. A plastic ring with ball bearings and absolutely no protection. Already the ball bearings were starting rust, after what was only a few months. This spring, having stored it in the garage all winter, we got it out to use it and we put up the umbrella and it all looked great. We noticed it kept rotating at the base in the light breeze but when we tried to lock in the mechanism it wouldn’t click into place. I looked at the mechanism again and the ball race was completely rusted and had seized the plastic ring it sits which, in turn, had completely shattered. There were rusty ball bearings all underneath the base. This meant the umbrella could now swing at will and is quite dangerous as if the wind caught it, it could do some real damage. It’s heavy unit. I contacted Royalcraft to explain and ask if by any chance the mechanism had been updated/upgraded as it is clearly a massive design flaw.it took about. Week to get a reply and when I did, it was brief and very dismissive and I was told they didn’t even stock the original. They don’t carry parts for it and should speak to the retailer who sold it to me. I emailed back to explain this was not possible as the company had now closed permanently. I asked them to put me in touch with their manufacturers as they must carry parts and one assumes this mechanism is used in multiple ranges. They didn’t bother replying. What a waste of £380. Do not not buy from this company. In my opinion, it massively overpriced rubbish is poorly made and I highly doubt that Royalcraft make it themselves. I imagine it is cheaply mass produced in the Far East like a lot of garden furniture and c;early customer services doesn’t mean a thing. I believe their interest is in selling to retailers as they clearly don’t care about the end user. Utter garbage.
