Just finished doing the 2 weeks travel and volunteering (turtle conservation) programme in Sri Lanka. Ayomi and the team were super great and we had such a fun time helping out and getting to meet people!!

I spent 4 weeks in Tanzania with the mighty roar and it was the best 4 weeks of my life. I went with three friends but there were plenty of people who went alone and made friends within the hostel, the staff in the hostel were all so so lovely and couldn’t do enough to make sure everyone was happy and safe the entire time. They would drive us into town and anywhere we wanted to go at anytime and they would have 3 meals a day for us ready on time with variation and lots of hole comforts as well as a few traditional Tanzanian dishes. I would 100% recommend this experience to everyone and anyone. There were a mixture of ages at the hostel from 18 year olds to 60 year olds, groups of uni students and families. There were also lots of activities encouraged to do during free time while not at placement. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and couldn’t have had a better time. Thank you to the Comfy Stay Hostel for being so perfect, kind and welcoming.

We spent four week in Sri Lanka for our medical placement and can only speak highly of our hosts Ayomi and her family. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable and were so welcoming, making us feel a part of the family. A special mention also to Taxi, who never failed to make us smile each day and worked so incredibly hard. I would recommend TMR Sri Lanka highly as it is inexpensive compared to rivals, while not compromising on experience at all. Go visit Sri Lanka you won’t regret it. Thank you again Ayomi and team.

I’m just back from the most amazing 2 weeks in Sri Lanka, I did the childcare programme with the travel and volunteer and it was amazing. You get to see so much with the volunteer programme and everything is sorted for you. Special thanks to Karu and Santa for looking after us and helping us make the most of our trip, they are the best !!

It was an experience of a lifetime! Had the most amazing time. The core team were really lovely, friendly and helpful. I so much enjoyed all the work I did there and was so very fortunate to also help with the hatchlings which was amazing and something I will never forget. The team were lovely in answering questions and explaining what we were doing and all of them were so passionate in what they were doing. Fabulous experience and I also learnt so much. Thank you!

Very easy to book and lots of information given about the trips :) communication was also very good throughout. I would definitely recommend. However I don’t think the company makes it clear enough that the trips aren’t run by the mighty roar themselves as I was surprised to arrive to another organisation picking me up from the airport.

For the money you pay this is a well recommended trip, a great way to visit other countries and experience the world we live in. Additionally, you are able to offer something to the country/community which you are visited. My only recommendation for people booking through the mighty roar is to not book their advertised trips. You can finance these whilst you are in the country for a lot less, and it is no problem to book whilst you are in the country

Amazing experience! Thank you to Minh and Tran and all the Outreach Team who were very friendly and helpful from the beginning. They were checking we were ok on a daily basis and always offering support when needed. We also had an induction which included a basic Vietnamese teaching session. I won’t never forget this experience, it was life changing. Highly recommended!

A truly unforgettable experience! The whole process was absolutely faultless from start to finish, The Might Roar Group didn't leave a stone unturned. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. It was everything I expected and more, from the children in the schools to some really incredible volunteers I was placed with who I now share memories for life with!

What an amazing experience! This was my first time doing anything like this and I can now say that I will definitely be doing it again thanks to an amazing team! In the 2 weeks I spent in Sri Lanka I was able to explore everything on my list during the weekend trips and days out that Mamu helped us plan! Iomi and Taxi made me feel at home with daily check ins and updates of our week. The turtle conservation project was everything I wanted and more, I was able to get the hands on experience that I had always hoped for, the highlight for me definitely being the release of hundreds of baby turtle throughout my stay. Would definitely recommend if you are considering going!

Such an amazing trip and experience, the local volunteers are lovely and it was brilliant to see how the hospital worked and get to see surgeries and help out. Definitely recommend!!
