Made my first order last week after spotting some lovely items. Checked my email a few times but didn’t receive an order confirmation so assumed I had made a mistake. Checked my bank, but money had been taken out so I gave it a couple more days to see whether I would get an email or the products would arrive but alas nothing so had to call. Spoke to a lovely lady yesterday who was apologetic and seemed very competent. She said she would find out what was going on and call me back. Sadly no call back so guess I’ll be ringing again today to ask for a refund. Bit of a shambolic experience and feels a bit dodgy tbh so I won’t be shopping here again and I definitely wouldn’t recommend. Just hoping I can get my money back!
Just be very careful and check what you order from the catalogue, I ordered a jumper which was advertised as 90% cashmere 10% merino, what I received was 10% cashmere and 90% merino, quite a difference. I have got in touch with customer service and they said there must have been a mistake in the printing of the catalogue.
Inadvertently, I ordered a garment twice. I went on line to check the Woolovers customer service number and was amazed that the service is available 24/7. So, at 6.45 am Sunday morning I made a call and spoke to an advisor who immediately sorted the issue for me and arranged a refund for the duplicate order. The garment was delivered one day later. This is simply outstanding customer service and as a previous customer I can also attest to the excellent quality of the clothes. I can only strongly recommend Woolovers.
Delivery was quick but disappointed with postage charges for return.

I ordered two cashmere and merino tunics - one in teal one in navy. I opened and wore the teal one first. It was beautifully soft. But the navy one felt thin and scratchy. When I checked the label, it was 100% merino, no cashmere. I called Woolovers to ask for a replacement. I got through to a man who sounded bored out of his mind and annoyed that a customer was bothering his peace. He put me on hold repeatedly, eventually promising to send me a returns label which never arrived.
My order of a cowl neck jumper was delivered within a few days. I purchased 2 of the same jumper a couple of years ago in the same size - small. This one seems a little bit thinner than the previous two so doesn’t feel as cosy, and the sleeves are about 5 cm/2 inches shorter. The sleeves are just about ok for me but a longer length would be better. I love the colour though, which is called ‘pale blue’ but is actually pale turquoise.

Woolovers policy is that items have to be returned within a 30 days period and if the item is faulty has to be reported within the first 6 months. My purchase of a jumper shrunk on its first wash despite using the correct washing instructions and was unwearable. This was outside the 6 month period. Lots of emails to customer service resulted in them sticking rigidly to the 6 month return period. They were not sympathetic to how long I had been a customer, how much I had spent and the fact I had never returned items before claiming them to be defective. An appeal and email to the managing director was ignored. When I first made contact with them I was asked to return the item at my own expense only for it to be returned within 3-4 days saying they would not refund because it was outside the 6 month return period. This fact ie the date of purchase could have been established at the time of my call thereby negating the expense of returning it to them. I do feel badly treated by this company. They have ignored the individual customer and not applied any common sense in their dealings and consequently I shall never shop with them again

I was having a problem paying with my card, which is very unusual. As a rule my payment goes straightaway. I called the support line and spoke to a lovely lady who when I broke down in tears because my order was for a dress to wear at a relative's funeral, was so kind and helpful. Expressing her sorrow for my loss and sorting the problem out right away. Her kindness and efficiency made me feel that customer service really mattered to the company. I hope to be a customer for some years to come.
Awful service. I had to chase up my order, by email and by phone. After 3 phone calls, it was established that my order has been cancelled due to no stock. However, when I placed the order, there apparently stock available. WoolOvers didn’t hesitate to take my money.. There is a refund on the way, I’m told. VERY disappointed that I had to chase up the order, with no communication from them at all. I would hesitate to use them again. Probably won’t.

Bought 2 wool jumpers, same size, different colours. Arrived quite quickly, which has been previous experience. As also with previous experiences, quality and sizing is inconsistent across their range. On a plus side, good quality wool - heavy weight for winter but not crazy itchy. Not always the case with them. I have found the wool quality can be hit and miss - so only ever buy on sale and expect to only wear casually. The sizing between two items is different, both xs. One appears almost 2 inches narrower around torso, but same size arms, so oddly shaped. Won't bother returning, as size up likely too big, and can't be sure replacement would have same issue - not worth hassle.
Good quality items at reasonable prices. Fast service and knowledgeable staff. Package arrived quickly and in good condition. Returning it was easy and refund issued immediately.
