The quality has really gone downhill over the last few years and sizing is something else!! Ordered 4 tops and paid £4.50 delivery charge. One was so skimpy and had the most awful fishy smell, one looked like a dishcloth and another was tight around armpits. These were returned at a cost of £5.85. Why should I pay for poor quality garments to be returned? Will not be ordering again

I have been buying merino/cashmere sweaters from Woolovers for about 20 years. The latest purchase is poor quality, very thin almost see through and shorter than usual. I am disappointed and I wouldn't buy this sweater again.

I ordered first from Woolovers about 10 years ago and couldn't have been happier, but my latest experience was a complete disaster. First, they shipped an incorrect item in my order and, second, and most disappointingly, the quality has gone down the toilet, while the price they charged was a premium price. Both times I ordered lambswool crew sweaters. They now seem to think that just because they hang a swing tag on the item saying this item will pill naturally, they can deliver a complete joke of an item. This sweater barely lasted me 20 wears/10 washes (yes, proper delicate wool washes) before it appeared old, ratty and unwearable. My previous Woolovers sweaters lasted two winters at least. Do yourself a favor if you need winter sweaters and look elsewhere. Simply not good enough Woolovers.
The jumper overall is beautiful, but the reduction in percentage of cashmere, from previous jumpers I have had, made a huge difference in quality. This was much thinner and too loose around the bottom. Such a shame, as I have bought several jumpers in the past. This one is noticeably different in quality. The colour however, is very attractive.

A really great company supplying superb merchandise. I have recommended this company to friends and family. Everything arrives beautifully packed and environmentally five star.
Phoned first time to see if they had slippers in stock said yes, take an hours ride and no they didn’t have the slippers in the colour I wanted, took another pair which didn’t fit my Grandaughter so phoned up got them to check what I wanted was actually in stock not just on computer, women phoned me back said they would put hold on to them for Friday collection, I went NO nothing put by and had run out of the colour I wanted…so my advice for Woolovers is get rid of your call centre it is t working for the shop buyers.

I ordered two items as a gift thinking that as per their shipping policy of 3-4 days, this would surely be dispatched and delivered in good time. However this was not the case. The company has failed to dispatch the items for an entire week, which will now not be received in time, this is very disappointing and I’ll need to find another gift on extremely short notice. I have spoken to their customer service representative via phone today who was quite unhelpful. He could give no reason for this delay in dispatching at all besides ‘it’s probably because of Easter’, although the order was placed on the 26th of March, so I’m not sure how that could be relevant. I have been informed that it will now not be dispatched until the 2nd of April. Will definitely never purchase with them again and recommend that others do not if you hope to receive your items on time
