Jul 12,2022Terrible experience so far regarding buying our house so far. Very slow to raise the searches and only happened after our chasing, weeks into the process creating knock on delays. No proactive updates, only get responses after chasing multiple times over email and over the phone. Told they can’t explain the process to us because it isn’t in the “quote” and they constantly parrot the process will take 12 weeks+ when the council’s searches are currently taking five days…

Every query was answered in good time and relayed in a manner of which I had a complete understanding. The process went as well as these difficult issues can. I have dealt with many individuals over the years in various industries, Emma was by far and away one of the best.

Jun 22,2022I used Dutton Gregory a few years ago to buy my first property. Having no idea of the process, I found they were absolutely full of legalese and extremely unhelpful. I literally just got sent 50 PDFs (with no file names) and rushed to sign off on everything. I've since spoke to other people who couldn't believe it compared to their experience through other solictors. Really awful experience from Rebecca East. Do not recommend.

Jun 08,2022I would like to say that my experience of using Dutton Gregory in 2021/22 was a very positive one. Jonathan Whettingsteel was a constant source of strength and understanding during a very upsetting and unpleasant time of bitter dispute over the sale of our house and division of equity. I felt supported and protected from hostile email exchanges with my ex-partner and his solicitor. Jon went the extra mile to explain the implications of the law and what I could expect during the process and made sure that my emails were answered swiftly even when he was due in court and had limited time. I am so grateful to Jon for fighting my corner when I was too fearful to do it on my own, and feel that he and Dutton Gregory are worth every penny.

Jun 01,2022I found Gina Peters very helpful and she explained everything very clearly as we went along. Fortunately the tenant left the flat without us having to serve an Eviction Order, but I felt confident going ahead if it had been necessary.
