Dec 21,2020Picking a solicitor is one of the most important factors when buying or selling a home. After all, this will be one of the biggest investments you will ever make. As an Estate Agent, we cant recommend Dutton Gregory and especially Helen Phillips in their Poole office higher enough. Helen is always there when you need her, she is calm, fair, and knows all there is to buying and selling. If you are looking for a safe pair of hands, look no further than Dutton Gregory. Amazing!

Dec 18,2020Based on my experience with Dutton Gregory this summer during my purchase, I felt compelled to write a review. I used the services of Nicky Marsh for my conveyancing and she was excellent. She kept me updated at all times, and as a first time buyer guided me through my purchase with great knowledge and patience. Given how I felt completely out of my depth, Nicky was always quick with reassurance. Also, I honestly believe that if it was not for her tenacity and proactivity in ensuring the chain was able to exchange contracts when they did, I would have lost my apartment. I cannot thank her or recommend her highly enough. Thanks to Nicky and Dutton Gregory, I am now sat relaxing in my very own home.

Nov 23,2020Use with caution! I am using them for a purchase from millers homes (they are a panel solicitor) I thought given this they would be ok, even having read all the comments... don't bother. I've had to chase the whole time, didn't get the welcome letter etc until I spoke to millers and it magically arrived the next day!

Aug 25,2020All I wanted was a quote from the Eastleigh office. I emailed, I phoned and got nothing. I ended up using another firm who quoted straight away, turns out they had been made redundant by this firm at the start of Covid. Clearly whoever went on a sacking spree didn't have the foresight to think people may want to buy and sell houses in the future. Give a wide berth, incompetence is forgivable, dumping staff during a pandemic is not, shame on them.

Jul 31,2020Please do not use this firm. Used for the sale of a property and they got the house price wrong! Resulted in a debt caused by them and then used bullish tactics to get retrieve the money. Take a look at the other reviews, totally agree with them. Do not use.

May 25,2020I have submitted a complaint based on a letter I received from Mr Adrian Griffiths, who according to their website is a partner at this company, regarding what he describes as a trespass on my neighbours’ property (a piece of guttering he states is overhanging their property). The letter provided no evidence and in my assessment was in breach of the Solicitors Regulation Authority Code of Conduct. Amongst other things Mr Griffiths claimed that I should contribute to my neighbours’ legal fees as I had “forced” them into legal action, even though his letter was the first I had heard of the matter. I will endeavour to post updates here if I get a satisfactory response from the firm.

Dec 24,2019It’s a very long story, but please stay away from this Conveyancy firm. We used them for the sale of our property and the purchase of a new build. They handle client’s files with neglect and lack of competence. They made so many errors on our file and made the whole process of moving so much more stressful! We complained several times by offering constructive feedback but no improvements were made. They couldn’t even accept, with humbleness, the constructive feedback we offered and simply went on to make more mistakes on our file and statements. Moving home is a stressful process, moving home with incompetent solicitors is a nightmare! Happy to share more details if anyone is interested. Please just go elsewhere. Good luck

Jan 05,2021Paul Sams at Dutton Gregory - Fantastic! I could not fault Paul Sams and all of his team at all. They have ben absolutely fantastic. The whole process has been a very stressful first home purchase, through no fault of Dutton Gregory, but rest assured they done everything and more so in their power to help smooth the process and push the sale through. I can not thank these guys enough.
