Neither ended up being straightforward transactions due to matters out of our control, but Rebecca went above and beyond to keep everything as stress-free and smooth as it could be. We had regular updates and guidance throughout both transactions and we wouldn’t hesitate to use Rebecca and the team at DG again.

Jul 20,2021During a very stressful sale and purchase which almost fell through due to incompetence of our buyer's solicitors, we were able to leave Peter Remond and Ellie Kerr-Smiley to do their job without any chasing from us as they were always on the ball, even thought they must have been inundated with work just prior to the end of the stamp duty free period. Every call or email was answered or replied to almost immediately. Our seller's solicitor even specifically commented on how efficient Ellie was. Reliable and available - we cannot thank them enough.

Jul 07,2021We used Amanda Watts of Dutton Gregory in Bournemouth for our recent property purchase. It was a stressful experience for all concerned due to circumstances beyond our control but Amanda moved Heaven and Earth to get us completed before the June 30th SDLT holiday deadline. Dutton Gregory is a very professional and competent company. We would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent conveyancer. Buying a property is a very serious business so don't be tempted to use a cheap online company that you have never heard of. You need to be able to contact your conveyancer quickly and easily and be able to have face to face meetings if necessary. Amanda Watts always answered the telephone promptly and kept us fully informed by email throughout. We were also able to visit her at her office and this made the handing over of documents very easy. Thank you so much Amanda.

Jul 06,2021My dealings with Dutton Gregory began in early 2020 when my tenant stopped paying rent. We were able to get a CCJ against the tenant but unfortunately due to the eviction ban we were unable to proceed. I dealt firstly with Tom Whatley and then when he moved on Emma Honey, both were very professional and kept me informed at all times and were always happy to answer any queries I had. As soon as she was able Emma organised for the bailiffs attend and we now have an empty house. So although frustrated by the length of time it took I realise it was no fault of theirs, I am very happy with the work of the firm and would happily recommend them

May 30,2021I have liaised with Mr. Elliott Jurd in Dutton Gregory over the last year and all along he has been excellent. He is very professional answering all the questions I had in a timely manner. He laid out the various options and advised the pros and cons of these options and guided me in the right direction. Even through the COVID times, he has always found time to answer the questions thoroughly and in detail and at the same time offering support through his calm approach during this stressful period. I can only imagine the workload that he has, but he always found the time to get back to us on questions and when we needed him the most, he was always there.
