At the end of the Day I decided to not take a warranty… the car has 13,000 miles. Paul was great in the sales process…. But also in the refund process. Clearly he doesn’t like to lose a sale….however, he was prompt and courteous in his approach. Same day service. Thank you.

Dont buy anything from this Fu**** company, customer service is really bad. Totally disappointed. My truck blew the engine, I had to tow it, I couldn't contact anyone. I called my insurance to take it to the mechanic the other day my mechanic did all the necessary inspection and sent the estimate to them and they did not cover the service. In other words, it was of no use. They just want to take money out of your account every month and not provide any type of service. Stay tuned. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM SCAMMMMMMMMMS DONT BUY ANYTHING

DO NOT USE THEY DENY BASED ON WEAR AND TEAR WITHOUT INSPECTION If you're looking for a review to lean either way this is the one I would have hoped to have found before going with their "service." I took my car in for repair as there was a clunking noise. Turns out that the engine mounts failed and some bushings. I have the exclusionary policy such that these items are covered. They first attempted to dishonor their contract stating that the items on the work order weren't covered even though they never asked for any parts numbers. So then when I spoke to them and went through the contract with them on the phone and showed them that it was covered.... they changed their reasoning not to cover it because they said it was a wear and tear issue. I spoke with the mechanic and took it to a second mechanic as well and they both assured me wear and tear was not an issue and that wear and tear happens the second automobile leaves the dealership and that they had "collapsed and failed" and wear and tear is not a legitimate form of denial with regards to used vehicles of course. When I expressed this to them and offered that they send out their own third party inspection, something they should do not myself, they said that not all used cars have wear and tear🙄 and denied sending a third party inspection. So the only people denying it's condition are the only people who haven't seen it physically and are unwilling to look.... All of which takes place without any documentation and only limited emails without any professional context. Every time I spoke with them and ask them to send me over information or documents of the denial or even the claim itself. They said the rudimentary emails I sent out in contact for the claim and the denials were those documents and would never send any documentation (not keeping records of legitimate claims and denials is fraudulent.) Then wouldn't answer my phone calls because they would never send me any of the information I asked for. I've had to contact their state and file appropriate complaints as part of the first steps of litigation including fraud as they have absolutely no documentation nor follow the proper checks and balances to come to their "conclusion." As for the cherry on top: they're holding my repair hostage as I cannot repair the car until they've denied third party inspection which they will not go on record doing. Another one of the many emails they failed to send. Very unprofessional and unorganized.
The representative eric was very nice and he gave me my Quote last year and I still was able to get a good deal and he remembered me now That is great customer service.And I would love to recommend him to other people.He's a keeper.
Easy, quick, and pay most
From the beginning to the end, Empire was there every step of the way. I broke down on the side of the road, called Empire got my car towed and fixed for my leaking water pump. Gd bless you Empire

EDIT: Empire kept their word and refunded my payment. I appreciate their prompt response to this matter. First, I don't think the company is a fraud; I just don't think they have the best business practices, so if you deal with them, there is a higher risk than with other companies. I purchased a protection plan on 4/1/2024 and called to cancel that day. They were already closed when I tried to cancel on 4/1/2024, so I called the following day, canceled the policy, and was told to expect my refund in 5-7 business days. As of 4/22/2024, I still haven't received anything. I have called and emailed, and although they're nice enough, I'm not getting my money. I strongly feel they're just brushing me off. If it's this hard to get a refund when you didn't keep the policy for 24 hours, I wouldn't want to risk filing a claim with them. You'll have to chase them down for that, too.

My first claim arose about 2 months after purchasing my policy. The claims team was more on top of it and responsive than the repair shop. The claim was approved in minutes and the dealer told me it was the easiest claim he had ever processed through a third party company.

Highly fraudulent. I signed up in February. Stated we have 30 days to get a full refund. I called multiple times and even texted a guy named Erik or Jay. He will lie about his name. Never received a refund until the 30th day which they charged me again under a different company billing name called WALCO. Only after I called AGAIN I finally got the initial refund. But guess what I never got refunded the second charge made a month later under WALCO. I then get charged AGAIN in April. When calling to speak with Erik he lied and said his name was Jay like a coward. Then tried making up a whole story as to why it wasn’t cancelled. Then threatened me to not refund me because I left them a 1 star review. I have this call recorded on my phone. “You’ll have to fight for your money I’m not helping you out.” Childish business tactics. The best part is when I initially called back in February to cancel his exact words were “it’s only $137 if you want to cancel go ahead and cancel we aren’t concern about it.” Apparently they are. Stay far away from this company.
I had to take my car in to Audi to have engine mounts replaced that were found to be failing during a routine service. They were covered under extended warranty I purchased, minus deductible, sales tax, and diagnostics. The process went smoothly and the Empire team was easy to work with.
