I have been using it for about a year, everything is fine. The price is nice. The only time when I missed a payment was turned off, I immediately paid off the debt, and the activation lasted for about two days.
I have been running servers here for about 2 years and the overall service has been excellent. Support response times are on par or better than other providers I have used. Overall a solid service from a solid company.
Worse company I’ve dealt with. They charged me $130 for something I never used. I tried a server during free trial and never got notified the trial ended. I literally never got notifications up until I had to pay an invoice. Disgusting practices. I want my money back!
I've been trying to get kamatera.com to do something about their scammer spammer clients for over a year. All that I ever get is their automated response of "Thank you for contacting us, This is an automated response confirming the receipt of your ticket. Technical Support tickets response time goes from 5 minutes up to 24 hours, depending on the ticket urgency..." Which goes absolutely nowhere - no responses after that and their scam clients continue to mass spam from their servers. This is not just casual stuff. These are forged headers, posing as various companies (complete with stealing their logos) and promising great deals... as long as you enter your credit card info. Yea, right. If you are even thinking of doing any hosting on kamatera.com I would suggest you go and do some random checks of some of their IPs. Every one I checked were on multiple blacklists for spam and fraud, which means any emails you send out will end up in spam folders. Any email you send out using another mail service will also end up in spam folders if you listed a link to a website hosted on Kamatera. There are good companies and then there are those who don't care if their client breaks any laws. There are far better companies out there who actually honor their advertised AUP. I could list ticket numbers here but there's dozens of them since every illegal spam gets reported. They just don't care. Update 03/15/2025: Kamatera requested additional information last week, so I provided them with ove a dozen different IP addresses that were being used in massive spam attacks, complete with phishing sites and forged headers. Their response? They did nothing. Kamatera: add a new IP to this growing list of why your servers are all getting blacklisted. Latest scam site at another IP assigned to Kamatera/Cloudwm and already on multiple blacklists. You were notified by SpamCop.
Worst VPS service I have tried so far. Their are incredibly misleading about pricing. I purchased a low capacity VPS and they are asking me to deposit more funds each 3-4 days, and they say that if I dont deposit more they will suspend the access to the VPS, in which I already setup my trading account. I had to deposit 170usd in the last 20 days hahaha. Its so crazy Also, apart from that, I asked for an invoice and they say "You can not receive the invoice until you are 30 days with us", the funny thing is I already have 42 days using their server
Fantastic support. Jacob was an absolute star. The help was truly outstanding and professional among the competition. Very quick, knowledgeable and fluid with their work. Kamatera, make sure you show them your appreciation as much as your customers do!
Simply Awful service. I had a web server running and now cannot access it. They destroyed the access. Then they said i can buy an SSL from them to install on the server. Then they said they cannot do that. We've been completely down for a week now with no hope in fixing with Kamatera. Try Hyve in stead. Kamatera support is the absolute worst
They charged me even after I told them to cancel my service. They sent me an email stating that I have to follow some process in my account to terminate the service. Then they charged me for two more months, though I didn't use their service at all. l had to learn the lesson by losing almost $50. They are real scams and provide very very poor customer service I have ever seen.
I have been building an application and drawing on Kamatera’s tech to run it. I have made almost zero calls on the system or processing whilst they continue to charge over $40 per month. I have asked multiple times over the last 3 months to provide meaningful guidance to reduce these costs to represent the ACTUAL COSTS of ACTUAL calls. They have provided no meaningful support that has led to an ACTUAL reduction of costs. Clearly a lumbering bureaucracy with no meaningful care or customer service.
I wanted to try the service with the free trial, after I inputted my billing details it locked my account and said I had to pay 10 bucks to unlock it. I disabled my account right away and feel slightly scammed of my time and am not happy about them having my info now.
Creating a VPS Win10 Desktop was easy. Getting MS Edge browser or Google Chrome to work on a FRESH instance... buggy and support said (cutting and pasting) "I don't know why chrome would not work. I fixed Edge you can use it now." and Edge did not work. Then I get a message that I would either need to start over with a fresh instance or pay for managed services. Furthermore the invitation to provide feedback to a managers email... resulted in my email bouncing despite copying and pasting exactly the address provided. Lots of different VPS service providers out there. This one seems sketch. [EDIT: I did delete the old instance and create a new instance. It didn't work well... I didn't allocate enough drive space. Deleted it, created a new one with more space. And, finally, selve-served my way into a working instance for what I needed. I appreciate where the support team was coming from now. At the time I was a bit triggered and I do apologize. Updated the rating to reflect my fresh opinion. Just do your homework and understand what you're in for.]
It is refreshing too call a company and get an actual person on the phone. These guys also know their stuff.

They reject your card during registration, then immediately lock your account and request you to deposit 10$ to activate your account which doesn't have a service yet. Be very careful using this site. you have been warned.
At first service was decent and support was good but then like most companies it just gets worse. Closed account months ago and now receiving desperate attempts of communication via email. They could do much better.
Everything was fine, except the fact that I could not enter my console due to not being able to get email verification code to my email address. But thankfully to the support the problem was solved.
My experience with Kamatera’s customer support team was excellent! They were very helpful and responded quickly to all of my inquiries. I had an issue with my account, but they resolved it professionally and refunded my money quickly and without any complications. I truly appreciate their fast and effective support. Kamatera required me to add my debit card before starting the free trial. After the trial ended, they sent me a bill that was unfairly high compared to my actual usage. I chose not to pay it, but they continued attempting to charge my debit card for months until they eventually succeeded. I find it unacceptable that they have been attempting to charge my debit card for months without notifying me via email about these attempts. I’m planning to request a partial chargeback from my bank.
My experience with kamatera is the worst. I’ve asked to increase quota because I needed to optimize on MetaTrader 5. I asked which setup would work best and once I created that setup, started to optimize, left during night and one optimization that should take about 01:30h with the specs selected, was still optimizing for 7 hours!!! Spent more than 75$ combined in combinations of specs and lost hours on this and never worked well!! They make you pay more and lower the specs internally so that you use more time to pay in hourly payment circle. Never again!

Isn’t it common sense that you can’t spend $100 on a single server in just one month? Then, they informed me that I needed to make a $10 deposit to activate my account, which I did. The second issue I encountered was when I ordered an Australian server but received an Indonesian IP address (Jayapura) instead. This happened consistently with all the servers I ordered. I realized that this was a scam when I tried to request a refund. A staff member asked me for my full credit card information via email before they could process the refund. This is the biggest scam ever!
