Apr 06,2024We recently bought a really large beef joint from the butchers within ruxley garden centre, it looked amazing rolled and packaged, we had all our family for lunch on Easter Sunday and cooked the beef, it was the worst beef I have ever cooked, it was tough and really poor quality, approx a third of the joint concealed in the middle was packed with tough sinew, I was so upset and disappointed.

Apr 02,2024There is nothing I can fault with the products from Brogdale. The quality of the meat is outstanding, the service is exceptional & I love the fact they do home delivery! I have bought all my meat from them for a good many years & they have never let me down. Totally recommend!!

Apr 01,2024Leg of lamb ok in the freezer Sausages ok Mince ok Shoulder of lamb tiny for £25 where was the arm bit ? Taken off too sell no doubt never had a square shoulder of lamb and so tiny very disappointed

Mar 31,2024On a visit to Ashford recently we called into Brogdales at Dobbies and ended up buying a great deal of meat including two ducks legs of lamb, beef and pork joints however we were sweet talked into buying four Beef Short Ribs which looked good with plenty of meat as well as fat content and looked forward to cooking two in our slow cooker! Sadly on doing so and expecting nice fall off the bone meat it was inedible!! Tuff full of sinew and ended up throwing the meal in the bin! However not to be put off I tried again with the remaining two this time in a conventional oven and again cooked them slowly according to a known recipe but sadly they were the same as before! Where do they get the meat from exactly, the local wild life park??? I WILL BE VISITING the branch soon to complain face to face.

Mar 31,2024This company can improve by getting deliveries to people on their chosen dates. We’ve been ordering from Brogdales for a long time at Christmas and Easter and several times throughout the year you could call us a loyal customer. We order every Christmas and Easter well in advance sometimes up to a month as soon as Brogdales allow us to. We put the date in the diary clear our diary for that day and then wait for our delivery. Last Christmas and last week for Easter we had an email on the morning of the delivery advising us we will not be getting the goods that day. It would be the following day and when I advised this wasn’t convenient for ourselves they advised we haven’t got a driver he’s off sick. I feel that certain times of the year when Brogdales are particularly busy they should allow for this and employ accordingly. During a very unapologetic conversation with Ollie, he advised me we are a small company and we have 700 deliveries today. My answer to that is Brogdales produce sells itself. It is all good quality. Look after the every customer. I know you don’t care Brogdales but you have lost customer I’m going to buy my meat from somewhere who cares and properly packages and labels their produce with correct details .Goodbye
