Jan 20,2024One item missing, arrived later. No labels on 4/5 items so no use by date, instructions or ingredients (not on the website either). Chicken parcels were inferior meat to what I’ve purchased from BoB in the past, seemed like chicken thighs as opposed to chicken breast? Chicken pie was OK.

Jan 08,2024We bought a sirloin beef joint at Dobbies, Ashford especially for a dinner party. We were extremely disappointed, however, after asking if this joint would be tender. It was anything but. It was tough and we felt it ruined our dinner party. We will certainly not be returning to this butcher.

Jan 04,2024I’ve spent £1082 in total last year and time after time there’s stuff missing from my order. Whenever I call I get a message saying olly is unavailable and I seldom get a response in emails. Customer service is incredibly poor which is a massive shame as the meat is good. Each time I’ve called to question why something is not in my order and why no one told me it wasn’t being sent I’ve been made out to be a grumpy customer despite having paid for the items I have not received.

Dec 25,2023I think the meat is good quality. Have been happy with delivery service too. I always get my Christmas meat from here since our local butcher disappeared. My only disappointment was the pigs in blankets as they didn't resemble what was in the picture (tiny compared to the usual sausage size). I wish they would change their picture of a whole beef filet too. It looks very long and thin, dangly and puts me off buying for some reason. I'd like to see cooking instructions attached to their meat pies too, which are lovely.

Dec 20,2023First experience of buying from this company at Dobbies and there will be no more experiences this business is a meat seller not a butchers everything is wrapped up in plastic I purchased a large roasting joint of Topside to be cut in half for 2 Sunday dinners, this meat was sold as matured or cured .It was the most chewy meat I have put on a plate as a person who knows quality beef I would keep my money away from this retailer it was just a try will be sticking with my favourite butchers you have been warned by an expert.

Oct 22,2023I purchased a pack of 4 four fillet steaks which had been on special offer. The fourth steak had not been visible as it was obscured by the label. On unwrapping the pack, I discovered that the ‘hidden’ steak had been bulked out by an unbelievable amount of cling film underneath the steak. After removing this, was left with a very small piece of meat. Please don’t deceive your customers, they will not return. I for one will not.

Oct 22,2023placed a order with the butcher of brogdale been using them for a couple of months now placed a order last week and called them because items were missing off my order i say called them i mean called them 14 times eventually getting through and being assured they would delivery my item friday or sat fare enough they didnt turn up friday so i called sat morning to check delivery was out on the road yeh mate he will be there this afternoon well it now 9.oopm and guess what NO delivery no wonder these companies go under they have not got a clue so beware

May 04,2023If you order from here and have question regarding your order..... good luck getting in touch with anyone. Email, phone, chat, you name it I've tried it and nobody ever gets back to you. Shame. Update 9/5/23.. Decided to call again regarding a problem with my order but instead of choosing the Online Order option from the phone menu, I spoke to someone in the store who sorted my problem straight away.
