Great place for bikes!
We bought an emtb from this company. The bike was delivered promptly and was in perfect condition. On our 3rd trip out the motor cover snapped. It was caused by the chain slipping off and catching under the plastic cover. I phoned to organise a replacement which has been shipped the same day is being supplied free of charge. More than I expected. Excellent customer service
Great bike great service when a part was missing
Arrived slightly early for our appointment but were welcomed in by Ben. We spent around 1 1/2 hours discussing the various aspects relating to the Cube bike that I wanted with no pressure one way or the other. The bike was given a final check over in the workshop and then put in the car for me. Great service and will be there again this week to buy my wife one as well. Thank you very much.
They say "never judge a company on their products but how they respond to issues"... e-bikeshop provide fantastic customer service, therefore I consider them a great company. I lost a small part from my Cube e-bike. Asked e-bike shop if they could provide a replacement. It was sent via DHL, the same day at no cost. Received and fitted the following day. Absolutely perfect response and service. Thank you...
I purchased my latest E Bike from these guys and the process has been smooth and well organised. Later I encountered an issue with my fork brake caliper bolt stripping and it felt sticky. Alfred directly contacted me and guided me through the process to getting my forks sent away for fox ti inspect. After a quick turn around I was happy to hear a replacement part was given to me. So big shout out to Alfred! Top man. And couldnt do enough to help me out. Many Thanks Steven
I purchased two ebikes from this company. The process was seamless and all my queries where answered promptly by telephone or email without any pressure to buy. A minor issue with the battery capacity on both bikes was quickly and efficiently sorted out. Great customer service and I would thoroughly recommend this company.
I purchased my haibike xduro 10 flyon in May 2021. An £8000 purchase! Not cheap. On pick up of the bike the lad who handed it over to me just adjusted the front and back suspension and I was good to go. No other information on aftercare and cleaning of the bike which will become relevant as I go on. So not even a year into having the bike the wiring loom had failed which is quite a labour intensive job for someone who has never replaced this part, it's roughly £300 to replace with labour but luckily I'm still within the warranty. So I organised having to drive from Bath to Aldershot which is a 4hr round trip as the part can't be replaced anywhere else but the e-bike shop. So dropped the bike off and an hour into them having the bike I had a phone call that the battery in my bike was not working and unless they could find another flyon battery they wouldn't be able to replace or test the wiring loom to make sure that it is working and fixed! To note the last time I checked the battery it was fine? They had then found a fly on battery in one of their bikes in the show room and was able to test if wiring loom worked? Which is strange considering they are one of the main sellers of hiabikes in the uk and only had batteries inside of the bikes that are on sale. I have been told many times that due to covid, parts like the flyon battery have not been available and that it is a manufacturing issue and nothing to do with E bike shop, Yeah however haibike and the ebike shop are still manufacturing and selling these products with the fly on batteries in them!. So after the bike was fixed I went to pick it up and the man that had fixed the bike showed me the old wiring loom and said the problem was that water was driving through the down tube at the very top, He then said he had taped the top of the down tube where the holes are and said that this should have been done before I was handed the bike it's one of his top tips to people to try to stop water from driving in and damaging the electrical parts inside, he said this is a floor in haibikes design and that it should have been pointed out to me, As mentioned at the start I wasn't warned of how to clean the bike i.e. How to wash it properly so no pressure washers and to avoid water going in through the downtube and on the electrical parts, seems obvious once you have been told but I had no clue. I have know been told to just wipe the bike with a wet rag no hose or pressure washers. I was then told I would receive a new battery in Due course When they become available as they have none in stock. I had received no email confirmation of this and the man fixing the bike had put this through and it was on there system, I had no part number or reference number to this. So a few weeks have passed I haven't heard anything called up customer services and asked them if they could send me through a confirmation email so at least I had something in black-and-white. Note that I had to ask for confirmation how does that work? I was told that week 37 was when they should start receiving the new batteries and I would be told when my battery had been packaged and sent out to me. We are now at week 47 I have called probably every other week to try and ask what is going on with my battery and getting told We are waiting for more to come in and once yours is ready we will let you know. The last call I made was at the end of October I was told on the phone that my battery will be in the following week and that it would be sent out to me and they would let me know! we're at the end of November I called up yesterday still the same story it is something I'm getting sick of this battery is worth £800 pounds I've been without one now since July and the excuses are the same every time I call up it's unacceptable. I've never been updated in writing I have had to get confirmation every time from me calling the company and asking what's going on. Haibike will be made aware of this also. Not happy at all, I feel as though once you've purchased your bike they are not interested.
At present eBikes are like gold dust and I was hunting for a specific one. I phoned the e-bikeshop and they were extremely helpful and two days later the bike arrived. I have never had a bike delivered that was as well packaged and as well pre-assembled. The whole experience was excellent. Ben, one of their sales managers was extremely helpful and very friendly. I would definitely buy from them again.
Ive been looking for a e road bike for a while and I wanted one that maintained the sleek look of a road bike, so eventually decided on the SCOTT Addict eRide. e-bikeshop had it list at £200 below one other site and offered a pretty much full build and shipping. All I had to do was put my own pedals on and also the wheels (lock thru) so that was easy enough. The standard of packing was first class, 2 bike boxes stapled togeter so that the bars were on and in the correct position. lots of smaller boxes to ensure nothing could or did move and they get a solid 10/10 for that, it was like unpicking a tetris wall to get the bike out. I had an issue with the bike where SCOTT themselves put the wrong part on the bike meaning the stem cover didnt sit correctly, after a couple of quick chats and emails with pictures I suggested popping to a scott dealer near me and they looked and advised what should have been there, I called e-bikes back and they contacted SCOTT and the part has now been shipped out to me, a very simple switch out. Ive been very impressed with the whole process start to finish and I would easily recomend these guys to anyone, especially someone like me that isnt overly mech orientated, as these guys built the bike to a high standard with just a few simple bits needed by me.
I ordered a bike just before lunch time & they still managed to get it away the same day. Any questions I've asked have been answered quickly and concisely which makes a refreshing change. Great price and an interest free credit option, couldn't wish for more.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly from start to finish. I ordered a bike on a bike to work scheme and the online chat was extremely efficient for understanding what needed to be done. I was able to reserve the particular bike by paying a deposit, which was automatically refunded upon completion of the order - all very easy and pain-free. Once I had the voucher, this was processes quickly and the bike despatched promptly. The bike was well assembled and only require the last final few assembly stages to be completed. There was a minor issue with one of the parts, but this was rectified quickly. Would highly recommend!
Fantastic service. Went above and beyond to get my order fulfilled as quickly as they could. Friendly team and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking at buying an eBike!
False advertising! Do not trust the delivery of this company. You pay for Next Day delivery and it's not! Phoned them up and asked why we payed for Next Day if it takes a week to deliver. Completely false advertising and a way to make customers pay extra, for nothing.
Fantastic service from a great company. Just purchased a new Orbea Wild FS and the personal service I received was exemplary. Will definitely be using them for any future purchase and will be 100% recommending them to all the other people I ride with.
I had a problem with my Orbea Gain (purchased from the e-bike shop) loss of drive from the Mahle Hub. I phoned and spoke to Alfred who gave me some instructions over the phone to try and find out the problem. It was found to be the sensor, and one was sent to me the following day. The bike is now working again, thanks to the help and advice from the e-bike shop. Excellent professional service and very helpful.
Great team to deal with, i’ve purchased a cube touring pro from the e-bike shop just over a year ago and dealing with Ben and the team was efficient straightforward and very professional. Unfortunately my Cube Bike was Stolen and through my insurance eBike shop provided me with another new bike all within the space of about two months which I think was very fast considering the bike was in the range of £3000 so Insurance had to look into every detail. e-bikeshop.co.uk have now got my new bike in the build process and will be shipping it out tomorrow where I can get back on the road and enjoy cycling once again. No problem is too much for this team thanks for your service. 👍🏾
Thinking putting in a full review when finished trying to sort final issues with this shop. (This is a brief short version as the full will have be a flippin thesis.) My back ground has been working with motorbikes, these are mountain bikes, so if something misbehaves and it is not understood, the default setting is to approach the place that received £5500 plus spare parts. My decision from trying other than Specialzed (present supplier) was this brand has reportedly has a comparable warranty and after care to what i got from spesh. Within a couple of charges the rear disk warped badly into the frame (tight clearance) so badly, even fully adjusted out the lever was nearly touching the handle bar grips. The Galfer disk had heat warped way more than any shimano item in the 25,000m plus using mountain bikes. Warranty refused multiple times. Asked reasoning repeatedly, got none, just the same statement over many e-mails, then a copy of their warranty stating will not honour if worn, will honour if manufacturing defect. The thing warped on a canal and a road assent and decent to Harpshead pike. They did not ask for the item to inspect just instructed to bend it back and trust my life to a disk that was incapable of handling 350ft of road. (difficult to report it has failed again if killed by truck). Forced to buy disk at discounted price. Another interaction within months was no better, to do with grit in battery, heard long silence "then are you going to buy the part?" Bike is 6 months old, meant to aid training and delay surgeons knife from knee. Should have between 2500 and 3500 miles on it. Has 600-ish miles of which less than 350 it has worked as crank fell off and refused to stay on,(warrantied) as the drive systems indexing over two to three rides packed up. As first checked Shimano web site on how to set up (Shimano make it easy) and when that failed sought advice from those who knew the system inside out. No helpful information has been forthcoming- until very recently. Got way more from a local bike shop in five minutes than this establishment in the time possessing this machine. When escalating this to manager it was hoped a quick resolution could be sorted within 7 to 14 days, hoping they would smoothly guide through the process, connect to workshop for help and a guide through the system to see if the makes had a slightly different take to Sram (say stiffer springs as cable routing become tighter.) The reality is it is now two months and a mess, this shop has sent back the drive system parts after refusing the entire system (an email was also sent with the hour asking if they required anything else). They stated it it worked perfectly on their bike, yet another orbea dealer was unable (two technicians) to duplicate this perfectly working system, showing the symptoms plaguing the bike for half its life. (after this check they honed in on the issue quickly) This was performed while stood next to it, then we had a chat about set up and what to look for in the Shimano system. It turned out there were two faults, one a grey area: a trial adjustment after discussion which is fair, and the other a part the e-bike shop had said had no issues and worked perfectly fine. This was replaced with the chain and the bike rode by technicians and it indexes properly. will be riding the bike today, with both the new Shimano chain plus a kmc with 150 miles on it before responing to this shop who in an e-mail has said they feel that. "GIVEN THAT YOU'VE NOT YET EVEN PUT THESE PARTS BACK ON THE BIKE TO TEST THEM WITH THE NEW CABLE, OR TAKEN IT TO A DEALER TO VERIFY THE WAY YOU ARE SETTING IT UP/ADJUSTING, I FEEL THE ABOVE ONLY REALLY PERPETUATES YOUR OWN FRUSTRATION HERE, WHILE DELAYING A RESOLUTION." Firstly, the bike shop booked for a second opinion was unable to fit a booking in for atleast 10 days, (did make a second cheeky call and they kindly slotted in sooner) Secondly have remnants of the flu, seeked medical attention over concern lungs were back in the early stages of failing. From the outset have been aiming for techinical formation direct from source away from systems basic set up. This as not been forthcoming, not in a timely manner, the shop constantly suggesting bent hanger or poor customer set up, rather than entering a techncal conversation. For example: had mentioned cable seemed draggier than my Spesh bikes, asked if this normal or if if Shimano compensated with stiffer springs. Conversation ended non the wiser. If it had turned this was not meant to be draggier then a new cabe housing would have been the first port of call £35....not the £150 to send the bike just for them to do it, and poss £150 back (this i'm unsure of) and if the shop has to pay the return it then saves them also. as it stands at the moment the bike hopefully works, but still do not know if the crank will stay on.
Great to deal with E-Bikeshop a second time when choosing to buy the Orbea Gain D30. I'm based in Hong Kong and of the many UK sites E-Bikeshop made it the easiest to navigate regarding choosing, purchase and shipping. Ben the salesman communicated goings on well during the process and the bike arrived extremely well packaged in a timely fashion. Highly recommended.

May 02,2023I bought a haibike trekking 6 order no EB23061 from ebike direct. Absolutely regretted my decision since then. The gear shifting was poor and chain used to come off quite frequently. The hydraulic brakes needed bleeding - the front one was especially loose. I asked them to sort the issues but they kept on asking me for more & more pictures and once I sent few, they used to ask for more pictures but no resolution to the problems, delaying the issue at hand for months leaving me with an. unrideable bike. I called them multiple times and at one occasion, I was told that if I want them to sort it out, I would have to send the bike back bearing the cost of postage. In the end, I booked the bike for service with a local mechanic and got these issues sorted out for 200 quid - about the same cost as postage with added convenience and peace of mind rather trusting ebike shop. Absolutely avoid them at all costs, please.
