AVOID THESE PRICE SCAM MERCHANTS .. SO MUCH FOR THEIR LOYALTY SCHEME. This was the last email I wrote to them ... Dear Northern Energy, Thanks to the dikkhead (Dan I think he was called) who was on the phone to me today, you have now lost a Valuable Customer He has quoted me at 62p per litre for 1,300 - 1,500 litres which I told him was outrageous and I could get it way cheaper at Boilerjuice The dikkhead claimed that after I added the Service Charge from Boilerjuice, it would be cheaper to go with you I told him that this is not true, but he would not have it ! Here is the PROOF Screenshots supplied As you can see, the PRICE TO PAY already includes the SERVICE CHARGE at Boilerjuice, as I told Dikkhead Dan, repeatedly, but still he would not have it As an ACCA qualified Company Financial Controller, I’m pretty sure that I can do maths significantly better than Dikkhead Dan So here is the ACTUAL price per litre, INCLUDING the Service Charge … £839.34 divided by 1,500 litres equals 55.95626p per litre, PRICE TO PAY, including VAT, including SERVICE CHARGE, and including making Dikkhead Dan look very, very incompetent indeed As a result of Dikkhead Dan, you have lost my business completely, and I am now cancelling my Direct Debit Mandate with your company I hope this has taught you a valuable lesson in Customer Care or rather, how not to do it Kind regards Yours sincerely Darren Collett FCCA
We ordered the heating oil at a competitive price (against Boiler Juice) and it was delivered the following day. Difficult to improve on this!
Phoned up needing an immediate fill as I believe my tank had been siphoned. They had organised a delivery the next day. Unreal service as usual!
When we signed up to these it was we pay your VAT which was later removed and replaced with 2p off per litre which works out to a 2-3p increase per litre. Recently has a delivery which we didn’t know was coming until lunch time the day before no knowledge of price until billed which for 700 litres was around £60 more than the average local price. In the agreement was boiler serviced yearly missed for 2 1/2 years guess what blame COVID. Was then serviced after I complained and have been charged £117 for a service not carried out properly and engineer here for around 15 minutes. Beware of I am always right Sarah who only likes her own voice. Our account was always in credit meaning we paid monthly in advance for our oil. I have now cancelled and will investigate prices and pay when we have a delivery. Northern Energy good riddance.
Very easy to place an order for heating oil. Text received advising delivery date and oil delivered as promised. Staff are always helpful and polite
Northern Energy provide a great and very professional customer service . They are consistently competitive on price and can be relied to deliver when they say they will. They send very useful information on fuel and go above and beyond .

these have got to be the biggest bunch of cowboys i have ever dealt with. They wont honor any contract, their salesman or their accountant staff are liars (or both) They tried to stitch me up for 80ppl when it was only at 54p I know others that just paid the 80p, When i questioned the 80ppl they came to empty the tank (unsuccessfully) They have threatened me! The list goes on. You decide..
Absolutely thrilled with our service so far. We have just recently switched from one of the 'big' suppliers who let us down terribly and left us with no gas during the cold snap. From the very first phone call with Northern it has been a faultless stress-free experience. We have spoken with a lovey lady who has worked for the company 27 years (a far cry from the teenagers in the call center at said 'big' company who didn't give two hoots) and we have had direct communication over the phone with Steve the owner - both fantastically helpful. Switch was seamless and within two weeks we have received gas. Very happy.
I ordered some LPG on the 15th December. I have had to chase by phone multiple times and finally got a delivery date of the 28th December. We have a small tank and we are in real danger of running out of gas before the delivery date. NE are aware of that even though we are on the winter priority list this is the best they can do. There must be a lot of people in the same situation as me as I'm assuming anyone who ordered after me is still waiting as well..! Really disappointing experience as I have been a customer with them for over 3 years.

I participate in the company's automated delivery / top up service. The service is excellent. I never need worry about running out of fuel as Northern Energy always seem to anticipate my requirements well before the fuel gets too low without me having to go through the hassle of organising a delivery. I also appreciate the total package with the inclusive emergency boiler repair cover - real peace of mind in winter!! I would also add that the delivery drivers are unfailingly helpful, courteous and considerate of my neighbours.

after around 15 years of buying LPG and Heating Oil exclusively from Northern Energy we closed our account for a number of reasons; In spite of a very good payment record, the only reaction was to block our account on line; No concern as to why we were leaving;
Excellent company always delivers, excellent drivers very polite, we have dealt with them for years with no problems, top marks.
