All excellent. Would have been 5 stars but I didn’t get email notification the day before delivery as had been promised. This is needed to ensure my boiler is not on when the tank is filled.
Northern Energy is a great Company to deal with! Nothing is a bother, always friendly and courteous service from the customer service team, and of course the hard working drivers, doing a valuable job in all weathers- been with them a few years now and would not change!! Well done!!
From the first point of contact with Northern Energy customer service was friendly and efficient. I had a home visit within 24 hours, which again was efficient and professional. As a new customer, my account was switched from previous supplier the following day, and a delivery promised on day three. I challenge anyone to beat that. Congratulations Northern Energy. Good experience with setting up a valued customer relationship on the phone with prompt online back up. I was promised that I would always be offered best current price rather than a belated "new" price if I shopped around first , for future orders. It remains to be seen if that will be the case. To our surprise we were running almost on empty. A panic stricken telephone call to Northern Energy was met with a sympathetic and helpful voice. They would deliver the very next day. You can’t get better than that. Must remember to check more frequently my tank reading or book a top-up schedule. .
Must make it clear that the drivers are always polite and courteous and do a great job. I am getting fed up with the boiler service man year after year booking an appointment and cancelling at the last minute and now just not turning up without bothering to notify me. Looking around for alternative services arrangements for my boilers l decided to check, on the morning of my top up delivery, and was quoted by others 58 p/ltr and when l looked on my account l had been charged 73p/ltr by NE. l found it difficult to check this on my account because the web site is a disaster and is clearly not maintained.
Northern Energy is one of the best companies, I’ve ever dealt with, full stop. As far as energy providers go, they are categorically the best. Our estate used to be with another LPG provider, but once we moved to Northern Energy it was a breeze. Any questions I had were answered swiftly and politely. The personal service provided was second to none! I simply cannot give enough praise for the service I was given! Milly in particular was always on hand to help, so big thanks to you in particular!

We've recently moved house and also changed from LPG to Oil. Northern Energy helped to make the move easy and we have stuck with them for our oil deliveries. Always friendly and helpful on the phone, nothing is too much trouble.

Easy reordering prompt delivery
BEWARE - RIP OFF. Like others I feel totally ripped off, having signed up in September and being told that increases could be 3ppl in every 6 months I was hit with this. Sept signed up to 35ppl Oct 3p increase Jan 6.7 ppl increase ( IN THE SMALL PRINT USED IN CASE OF RISE IN GAS PRICES) Feb 6.2ppl increase again had been hidden in the small print Sept 3ppl increase. NOW paying 52.9 ppl.!!! My neighbours are with Calor who have not had these increaes. Unlike when you sign up to a fixed rate deal with mains gas companies and they cannot alter the price Northern energy manage to hide a clause in the small print and there is no mention of this when sold the deal. Don't get me wrong the service is good and the delivery driver is great but I feel let down and at this point would not be recommending this company.
Like another reviewer, I signed up for 34p per litre, but have just had a delivery at 54ppl. I have been a customer for several years and previously was warned when the ppl would increase, but this time there was no communication. The actual delivery is always efficient.
Have been using Northern Energy for many years now and have always had courteous service and the fact that they monitor when the next delivery is needed is an added bonus. Our tank is not the easiest to get to so an extra thankyou to the delivery man for leaving everything shipshape
Year ago signed fix price for 34p litre of LPG Now paying 52p per litre. Told by them in terms and condition price can go up. So be careful when you sign Other neighbours stayed with Calor still only paying 34p So fixed price contract means nothing.
Fantastic customer service and a lovely happy voice at the end of the phone, Louise was amazing and sorted out heating for me very very urgently. She listened to my situation and with so much empathy she made sure we was ok, even called to check in on us the day after. First time purchase of heating oil. Easy to use on line system, also discussed with office where great help was offered. Delivery driver very helpful
